The kitchen island / block was bought from a reclamation yard near Huddersfield. What I do know is that it is very sturdy and heavy so local collection only. The undercarriage is painted in Farrow and Ball, Elephants Breath I think? I did it, just cant remember. The shelf underneath is a useful space and, as a guide, I stored two Le Creuset dishes and a very large Ikea stockpot.
Please note the items in the photo are not include with the item. I have included a photo of my very impressive dimensions drawingI surprised myself! I measured it as accurately as possible but please do not hold me to the nearest centimetre. This block is not perfect but in very good condition, I hope you can see that from the photos I have included. There is also a retro coke bottle opener attached.
There is a very slight rock but I addressed it with a piece of felt under one leg. Your floor may be better or worse than mine and it may not be a problem.
Im sad to see this go to a new home as it has been in our family kitchen for many Christmases, however there are not many other rooms that you can use a kitchen island. Perhaps you are re-modelling your bathroom? Maybe it would hold a freestanding bathroom sink with room for baskets underneath. Any questions please get in touch.
