This is quite a beautiful piece. This dresser is a Hand Carved piece made by keen Pine.Unlike Flatpack furniture this item is a Solid piece that will never date and can be passed down through the generations. The Base Unit comprises of 4 cupboards with Shelving in each one for extra storage and 4 drawers.
They are all hand carved and along the edge of the dresser there is even more ornate carving. The Top unit has 2 large shelves with 7 spice drawers all dovetail.
There is very ornate carving on the sides of the dresser which have all been hand carved. The top has been sanded down to reveal the natural grain and treated with oil to enhance the natural grain and to provide a waterproof shield to the wood. The Dresser top has also been waxed to seal the oil in. I have fully refurbished this is Farrow and Ball off White no 3.
All hinges and handles are removed prior to starting refurbishment. This dresser has been washed, sanded down and treated with primer and undercoat to allow the adhesion of the paint. Then it has been given 3 to 4 coats of Farrow and Ball Paint.This Dresser comes in two parts for transport. The whole dresser is then treated with a clear matt polyurethane varnish with a diamond coat to give it more durability against every day knocks and bumps! Collection is welcomed from NG17 but please be aware that once the item leaves my showroom it is no longer the responsibility of Willow Furnishing Ltd and we are not liable for any damages in transit.
