French Louis Style Shabby Chic Upholstered Chair. A beautiful French Louis style chair, made to perfectly compliment a French country, vintage or shabby chic interior style home and a great feature in any room around the home as an elegant decorative occasional chair. The ornate wooden chair frame has been painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint in a soft neutral white colour. This paint gives furniture a lovely matte artisan finish which is perfect for recreating a shabby chic vintage look and style. A clear wax has also been applied that provides protection and durability. I have upholstered the chair seat and backs with a pretty nostalgic French toile de jouy fabric and finished with a silky trim braid. The inner materials of the chair has also been renewed, making this a very soft comfy chair that can be used for a bedroom, dining room or hall entrance!
