If you are looking for a special french farmhouse piece for your home then this is it, the pictures do not do this piece any justice, it is truly stunning. I use only the best paints and varnishes to refurbish my items. The whole set has been painted in an off white colour and has been varnished for protection. To restore the chairs I first cleaned them with sugar soap to remove any old dirt or polish, I then sanded them back before painting them with four coats of the paint described above.

The varnish also makes the surface wipeable. The top has been sanded back to the grain and left natural, it can be varnished if required. The set has been lightly distressed to give the shabby chic look. All my pieces are refurbished by hand and many hours have gone into making this piece beautiful and true shabby chic. This whole item has been hand painted and may show some paint lines, however i do my best to keep the paint work smooth. This is a true shabby chic piece as it does not have that mass produced look.

All pre loved furniture may have the following - small bumps, dints, scratches, bruises ect - all of this adds to the shabby chic warmth and charm.
