The Foundry has for sale... A Beautiful Lightly Distressed Shabby Chic Dining Table and Four Upholstered Chairs. All my items are one-off pieces so don't miss your chance to own this beautiful item. If you are looking for a special french farmhouse piece for your home then this is it, the pictures do not do this piece any justice, it is truly stunning. I use only the best paints and varnishes to refurbish my items. The set has been white washed in Annie Sloan Pure White and has been varnished for protection.

To restore the chairs I first cleaned them with sugar soap to remove any old dirt or polish, I then painted them with 3 coats of the chalk described above, I then finished them off with clear varnish for protection, the varnish also makes the surface wipeable. To refurbish the table top I first cleaned it with sugar soap to remove any old dirt or polish, I then sanded it back before adding a white washed effect with the chalk described above.

Once this was complete I finished them with Clear Varnish for protection. The varnish also makes the surface wipeable. Length 122.5cm and Width 108cm.

All my pieces are refurbished by hand and many hours have gone into making this piece beautiful and true shabby chic. This whole item has been hand painted and may show some paint lines, however i do my best to keep the paint work smooth. This is a true shabby chic piece as it does not have that mass produced look. All pre loved furniture may have the following - small bumps, dints, scratches, bruises ect - all of this adds to the shabby chic warmth and charm.
